The Ministry of Ayush has established the Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy to set standards for ASU&H drugs, collaborating with the Bureau of Indian Standards to create 180 Indian standards across various Ayush systems. This initiative aims to enhance the quality and safety of Ayush products, aligning them with international norms and improving consumer confidence. The Ministry also collaborates with WHO for the development of an International Herbal Pharmacopeia and promotes certification for Ayurvedic, Siddha, and Unani medicines.
