With a career spanning over 36 years, Garg is recognized for her significant contributions to the Indian railway sector. Her past roles include Divisional Railway Manager of Mysore, Principal Financial Advisor at Rail Wheel Factory, and Director General of IRIFM. She holds advanced qualifications, including a Chevening Fellowship and a master’s in Transport Economics from the University of Leeds, UK, with additional executive training from institutions in Milan, Singapore, and Hyderabad.
