CCIC Unveils 'Soul Threads' Collection, Celebrating India's Artisan Heritage

The Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India (CCIC), under the Ministry of Textiles, has launched its heritage designer collection titled 'Soul Threads'. This initiative aims to celebrate India's artisanal legacy by showcasing a range of artisanal creations, including sarees, designer wear, jewellery, and home furnishings, from April 24 to May 10, 2026, at its flagship showroom in New Delhi. The collection, inspired by India's indigenous textile traditions, strives to blend these with contemporary aesthetics. The event not only showcased the collection through a fashion show but also included cultural performances to highlight the richness of India's heritage. The launch event was attended by notable figures such as Mrs. Neelam Shami Rao, IAS, Secretary (Textiles) and other prominent officials and dignitaries.
