On August 8, 2025, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment will host a special event at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) in conjunction with Raksha Bandhan. The event will feature sisters from the Brahma Kumaris tying rakhis to 400 CRPF personnel, along with a pledge ceremony for participants to commit to a drug-free life. The NMBA aims to raise awareness about substance abuse, particularly among youth, and has reached over 18 crore people through various initiatives.
