Dehradun Bypass Project Aims to Decongest Traffic by 2027
The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is constructing a 12 km long Greenfield four-lane access-controlled bypass in Dehradun, part of the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor project. This bypass, intended to alleviate traffic and enhance connectivity, is scheduled for completion in April 2027. The Rs. 716 crore project has achieved 44% physical progress and incorporates various environmental and wildlife protection measures.
