The Department of Commerce has issued a notification revising the schedules under the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) Scheme. These revisions align the RoDTEP tariff lines with the amended Customs Tariff structure, reducing classification ambiguities and facilitating smoother processing of export claims. Effective from May 1, 2026, this alignment enhances the ease of doing business for exporters. The revision includes the addition of 142 new tariff lines, deletion of 50, and modifications to two existing lines.
