Digital Leap: JanSamarth Portal Processes 41 Lakh Applications Across 15 Government Schemes

The JanSamarth portal, launched by the Prime Minister on June 6, 2022, has transformed the landscape for credit-linked government schemes by processing over 41 lakh applications amounting to ₹1,06,306 Crores. The digital platform enables seamless access to 15 Central Government schemes across diverse sectors such as agriculture, renewable energy, and housing. Collaborating with 254 lenders, the portal has facilitated digital approvals for 35.07 lakh beneficiaries, summing to ₹84,365.55 Crores. By utilizing advanced technologies, the platform ensures a simplified, transparent, and efficient loan application process, benefiting various stakeholders within the financial ecosystem and advancing inclusive development.
