The Dattopant Thengadi National Board for Workers Education & Development (DTNBWED) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Uttar Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (UPBOCWWB) to enhance the skills of construction workers in Uttar Pradesh. The initiative aims to provide training under the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) program, covering 1,00,000 workers initially, with plans to expand to 2,00,000. The program includes a structured 120-hour training, assessment, and wage loss compensation for participants, promoting skill development and social security for unorganized sector workers.
