Enhancing Agro-Meteorological Services for Farmers Across India

The Ministry of Earth Sciences has outlined the ongoing efforts to improve weather-based agro-advisory services in India through 130 Agrometeorological Field Units (AMFUs) and technological advancements. The services are provided in association with Krishi Vigyan Kendras and involve the use of digital platforms to disseminate weather advisories to farmers.
