Government Advances Integration of 10,000 FPOs into National Agricultural Value Chains

The Government of India has intensified efforts to integrate 10,000 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) into the national agricultural value chain through a Central Sector Scheme. As of October 31, 2025, over 4,600 FPOs have been linked to the e-NAM platform. This initiative includes financial support with a management cost of ₹18 lakh per FPO, equity grants, and credit guarantees, alongside assistance for obtaining input and marketing licenses. Regular webinars have been organized to improve FPOs' business management and connectivity with e-commerce platforms, bolstering their access to diverse markets and better bargaining power.
