India-Austria Trade Talks Boost Economic Ties
The 17th Session of the India–Austria Joint Economic Commission was held in New Delhi, where Union Minister Shri Piyush Goyal stressed the importance of strengthening trade, investment, and innovation links with Austria. Co-chaired by Indian and Austrian officials, the meeting evaluated bilateral economic relations and explored collaboration in key sectors such as infrastructure, skill development, digitalisation, and vocational training. The conclusion of the India–European Union Free Trade Agreement was also celebrated, marking enhanced avenues for future economic partnerships between India and Austria.
