India Records Positive Growth in Merchandise and Service Exports for 2025-26

India's trade data for April-January 2025-26 shows a significant increase in both merchandise and service exports. The cumulative exports reached US$ 720.76 Billion, marking a 6.15% growth compared to the previous year. Merchandise exports specifically grew by 2.20%, reaching US$ 366.63 Billion. Key drivers of this growth include sectors like Engineering Goods, Petroleum Products, and Marine Products. Services exports also rose by 10.57%, continuing the trend of growing trade balances despite a larger import figure of US$ 823.41 Billion.
