IndiaAI Mission and Semicon India Programme Propel India's Tech Landscape

The Government of India has launched the IndiaAI Mission with an investment of Rs. 10,372 crore to bolster the country's AI ecosystem. The initiative has introduced over 38,000 GPUs through an AI compute portal for affordable access to startups and academia. Additionally, the Semicon India Programme aims to enhance the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, featuring an investment of Rs. 91,526 crore by Tata Electronics Private Limited in a new fab facility. Through these efforts, India is enabling a comprehensive AI and semiconductor ecosystem to boost domestic capabilities and innovation.
