Launch of 'One Nation One Port' Framework to Streamline Port Processes Across India

The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways in India has introduced the "One Nation One Port Process" (ONOP) framework to standardize port processes across the country, including in Andhra Pradesh. The initiative aims to integrate various port-related departments like Customs, Immigration, and Port Health on a single platform, aligning with international conventions. By doing so, it seeks to reduce documentation by 33%, improving efficiency and reducing costs and turnaround time for port operations. This was shared by the Union Minister for Port Shipping and Waterways in a Rajya Sabha session.
