Minister Reviews Eklavya Schools Construction Progress

Shri Jual Oram, Hon’ble Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, led a meeting to assess the development of Eklavya Model Residential Schools nationwide. These schools aim to provide high-quality residential education to Scheduled Tribe students from Classes VI to XII. The session was attended by senior officials from various government sectors and public sector undertakings. Discussions focused on the expeditious construction and removal of project obstacles. The construction of 728 schools is planned, with 428 already finished and 249 ongoing.
