Ministry of Ayush Promotes Traditional Medicine Development

The Ministry of Ayush is actively supporting State and Union Territory governments in promoting and developing traditional systems of medicine, including Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy, through the National Ayush Mission (NAM). This includes funding for health centers, hospitals, dispensaries, and educational institutions, as well as international cooperation initiatives to enhance the global presence of AYUSH systems. The ministry has signed multiple MoUs to foster international collaboration and has established the Global Traditional Medicine Centre in partnership with WHO.
