Ministry of Heavy Industries Promotes Electric Vehicle Ecosystem

The Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) has launched several initiatives to enhance the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem in India, focusing on accessibility and affordability. Key schemes include FAME-II, PM E-DRIVE, and the PM-eBus Sewa Scheme, which collectively aim to incentivize the purchase of electric vehicles, support urban bus operations, and promote domestic manufacturing of EV components.
