Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Enhances Training Initiatives

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has conducted a National Skill Gap Study to identify skill demands in seven high-growth sectors. District Skill Committees are formulating District Skill Development Plans to address local skill gaps. The MSDE has implemented various initiatives, including the establishment of the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) to ensure quality in vocational training, and partnerships with tech companies to align training with industry needs. New courses in emerging technologies are being introduced to prepare the workforce for future job roles.
