MoSPI’s Interaction with Indian Statistical Service Officer Trainees

The Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI) held an engagement event for Indian Statistical Service (ISS) officer trainees from the 2024, 2025, and 2026 batches at the National Statistical Systems Training Academy (NSSTA). During the event, senior officials, including Secretary Dr. Saurabh Garg, emphasized the ministry’s strategic vision and reforms to strengthen the Indian Statistical System. Trainees shared insights on their training experiences, highlighting their roles in data collection and field operations. Dr. R. Balasubramaniam of the Capacity Building Commission also addressed ethical leadership and values in public service.
