Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 Scheme Enhances Early Childhood Services
The Ministry of Women and Child Development has launched the Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 scheme, which integrates nutrition, health, and early education services for young children and their mothers. The initiative has transformed over 1,03,940 Anganwadi Centres into Saksham Anganwadis, integrating modern technology like the Poshan Tracker for monitoring and promoting transparency. The Poshan Bhi Padhai Bhi initiative specifically enhances early childhood care by supplying Anganwadis with quality resources and trained personnel. Despite advancements, no proposals have yet been made for women's skill development programs through Anganwadi Centres.
