Relief for Textile Exporters: Extended Export Obligation Period

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has extended the Export Obligation (EO) period under Advance Authorisation for textile products from 6 months to 18 months, providing significant relief to exporters of man-made fibre (MMF) and technical textiles. This measure, along with the exemption of import duty on cotton until
