Training Course for Especially Abled Under CTS

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) is implementing the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) through Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across India, offering training in 169 trades aligned with the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF). Among these, five courses are specifically designed for especially abled individuals. The initiative aims to enhance employability for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and includes a National Scheme for upgrading ITIs and establishing National Centres of Excellence for skill development, with a total outlay of ₹60,000 crore.
