Advanced Meteorological Infrastructure Operative in Warangal

The Ministry of Earth Sciences has implemented advanced meteorological systems in Warangal district, Telangana. Five Automatic Weather Stations are operational, though no Doppler Weather Radar is installed locally. Flood forecasting for the area is supported by the Central Water Commission. Various dissemination methods ensure that alerts and forecasts reach concerned authorities.
