IGNCA Publishes 'Janjati Gaurav' Documenting India's Tribal Heritage

The Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA) has released a publication titled 'Janjati Gaurav,' which focuses on the invaluable contributions and rich cultural heritage of India's tribal communities. It explores the significant roles these communities played in India's freedom struggle and nation-building through historical narratives and archival resources. Moreover, in recognition of these contributions, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs has approved museums dedicated to tribal freedom fighters across various states, aiming to preserve and promote tribal history and culture. However, there is currently no plan to declare Mangarh Dham a national monument.
