Kharif Crop Coverage Progress Report 2025

The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare has released the progress report on area coverage under Kharif crops as of June 27, 2025. The report indicates the area sown for various crops, including rice, pulses, coarse cereals, oilseeds, sugarcane, jute, and cotton, comparing the figures with the previous year. Overall, there has been an increase in the area sown for most crops, with total coverage reaching 262.15 lakh hectares, up from 235.44 lakh hectares in 2024.
