The Khadi and Village Industries Commission, under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, announced this achievement. This recognition ensures authenticity and protection for the artisans' skills, aligns with Mahatma Gandhi’s Swadeshi ideology, and supports "Vocal for Local" and "Aatmanirbhar Bharat" initiatives.
